Nearly opaque dark brown pour has a brief beige head. Wow! You can smell the oak and the whiskey right out of the gate. Sweet toasted malt nose hints at toffee. Flavor is sweet and toasty. Lots of booziness upfront. Then comes the toffee, dried fruit and sweet maple nuances. The oak and whiskey shows on the backend. Somewhat cloying, yet remarkably smooth. Definitely a world class example of the style. Nice job, Revolution!

Can thanks to Russell. Pours a dark amber with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is dark fruit, wood, bourbon. Slick body, raisin, caramel, wood, bourbon, nice sweetness, enjoyed this.

12oz can from Tavour. Dark brown pour, still. Aroma is sweet and malty, raisins, bourbon. Taste is sweet, light peated malts, prunes, tobacco, molasses, whiskey and can initial blast of warmth. Smooth, sweet, slick, with a touch of dryness at the finish.

12oz can pours out cola brown topped with a small tan head. Nose is amazing rich bourbon barrel notes sweet caramel toffee pitfruit wow. Taste is more of the nice sweet caramel toffee pitfruit rich bourbon barrel vanilla. Great

Burk från Rev, 2023. Mörk kastanjebrun med rubinröda toner, ljusbeige krona som snabbt lägger sig. Kolaremmar, rostat socker, toffee, hårda smörkolor, massor av fat, Bourbon, likörpralin, gränsar mot marsipan, fin alkoholvärme. Makalöst bra.

I love gravedigger and I love scotch ales but never seen such a thick expression of bourbon in a scotch ale as here, thick vanilla and toffee, sweet sweet heaven.

Can. Pours clear reddish hazel, small beige head, decent lacing. Aroma is dark sugars, toffee, werthers, bourbon, oaky vanilla. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body. Hella fine.
