Bottle from the brewpub. Pours dark brown with a slight beige head. Aroma of sugary dark fruits, and very dark treacle. Med+ body. Flavor is dark fruit, dark treacle, wood, and a smoky finish. Quite nice.

Bottle at the March DC Tasting, provided by Travlr. Thanks! Poured a dark brown color with a small tan head. Aroma was chocolate, light smoked malts. Creamy malt character. Tasty Baltic porter!

Bottle at the DC March Tasting, Dark brownish black with light tan head. Aromas of chocolate, licorice, light smoke, toffee. Tastes of chocolate, licorice, roast, light smoke. Medium body with a dry finish.

If there were an award for best beer photo of the year, this one would one. Bottle from the source. Clear very dark brown color. Aroma of dark berries, very light soy sauce in a good way, burnt brownies. Taste is very malty dark fruit and cocoa. Very tasty.

Bottle thanks to duchammer: Poured a pitch black with a light brown head. Very rich and roasty aroma. Taste is bitter coffee, roasted malts, and finished with more dry bitterness.
