Our sweet stout is brewed right here in the heart of America’s Dairyland with a touch of real Wisconsin Milk Sugar. German and Czech Hops harmonize with the contribution of our grazing neighborhood bovine. This Milk Stout is not for the lactose intolerant. A voluptuous blend of English, Czech, German and Wisconsin malted barley creates soft mocha caramel java notes. Malt House friends at Briess in Chilton, WI delivered a special roast to bring home the chewy dark experience. After a long day in the barn or the office, savor and toast Wisconsin’s good life!

12 ounce bottle from Discount Liquors, 9/5/16. Clear dark brown, large fizzy tan head, fair retention. Aroma of lactose, chocolate, roasted malts and a bit of nuttiness. The taste roasted malt, chocolate, nuts, lactose, hints of cherry. Medium bodied, high carbonation, well balanced. Nice beer.

Bottle courtesy of nuplastikk, thank you! Opaque dark brown color, bright beige ice cream cone head. Aroma of milk chocolate, coffee. Taste is very roasty chocolate biscuit dipped in espresso. Very tasty.

Pours a deep brown-black, with minimal head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee. Flavor is marked by chocolate, coffee, some caramel. Markedly sweet, almost tastes like drinking chocolate milk. Is there anything beerwise that the folks at New Glarus can’t do?

12oz bottle. A pretty well made Milk Stout, but hard to gauge on some levels without knowing its ABV. Very steady creamy beige head on top of deep brown body. Really solid balance. Fresh, well made. Wish it was in 6packs instead of 4.
