As the light softens and the leaves begin their quiet descent, Rubato Rouge plays its own autumn song. A red IPA brewed in harmony by Hackney Church and Colbier, it balances warmth and brightness like sunlight through crimson trees.
Barbe Rouge brings a flourish of wild berries and soft strawberry notes, while Strata drifts in with whispers of grapefruit zest and pine. Beneath it all, a toasted malt base keeps time.
Like its musical namesake, rubato — where rhythm bends to emotion — this beer invites you to slow down, savour, and wander off the beaten path.

Travel layover in Crewe beer. Hazy dank amber coloured, not quite red in terms of colour as the French in its name might suggest. It is a red ale though in taste, with light sweet-berry available in its taste, and quite hoppy, nothing particularly rye here. 76.5676

Really solid overall. Nice resinous pine but fairly restrained, a little toasted grain, rich malt, suggestions of caramel and earthy hops. Well rounded, balanced, looks great. Sound.
