375 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Sandnes Kvadrat. ABV is 9.5%. Black colour, moderate beige head. Aroma of roast malts, molasses, fusel, bourbon whiskey, vanilla and oak. Rich and warming mouthfeel. Rich and complex flavour with the same elements as the aroma, but not too sweet. Distinct bourbon, moderate bitterness.

Dobbeltøl gir godt humør, iflg. Bellman (enkeltøl jeg aldri smaker, brennevinsangst mitt hjerte skaker). Nyttårsaften feires med denne 0,375 butelje fra mitt fjernlager i Verksgata: brunsvart med eksemplarisk skum hele veien ned. Mørke karamellsjokolader, hint av treverk og brændevin med sognakksmak. Godt nyttår til Bjarte&co i Flintegata, og til alle kjente og ukjente ølentusiaster!

RGG. Dark brown color with a tan head. Aroma and flavor is booze, roasted malt, oak, chocolate, nuts, caramel,dried fruit, spices.

170ml draught at Ølhallen. Shared with Finn. Coal black body, dotted spots from a declining beige head. Inviting aromas of chocolate malts and nuts, mid-sweet. Blended malt-forward taste with caramel-chocolate, nuts, and oak. Smoothly roasted finish sustained by a touch of bourbon. Fine depth to it. Good drinking. (Tromsø, 09.12.2025).
