Massive malt-bomb of an IPA, with an enormous sweet caramel bottom supporting all these massive hops on the front. Starts sweet, ends sweet, with a mild piney resinous streak offering an unexpectedly manageable 100+ IBU assault. Sticky and bitter yet friendly; not too sure where I ultimately stand on this beast. Alcohol’s nicely hidden, though, and it sure does look pretty.

355 ml can from BeerLovers, bb July 2017.
Dark golden, hazy body, with a medium, fluffy, a bit lacing, off-white head.
Aroma of lemon juice, grapefruit, passion fruit, mango, guave, some pine, caramel.
Tastes of grapefruit, orange, tropical fruits, juice, lots of biscuit, some alcohol.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes bitter, medium dry, alcohol warming, zesty, citric, piney, a bit sweet.

Very nice. Pretty heavy, with a broad malt body, lots of bitterness and quite a lot of alcohol, maybe a bit too much. Otherwise really lovely, with lots of juicy fruits, especially in the nose. Not an outstanding style example maybe, but tasty stuff nonetheless.

Sampled from the can at All Pints North. Pours a near clear gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has light onion, light pine, some grass and sweet grains backing. Flavor combines pine and onion support by sweet grains and some grassy notes.
