If you love Resin, try tasting it straight from the tanks. That’s Puff – a hazy, unfiltered pour straight from the tanks, with an extra dose of dry hops... a new blend devised just for Puff.
PUFF has that extra dose of hazy dry-hops, with juicy strains like Mosaic and Citra, to put your in the clouds.

Can at home watching movie after a shitty fucking week. Orange with small head. Nose is resinous grapefruit and pine. Tastes sweet with thick resinous hops, some pine, grapefruit, caramel, and malt. Bitter and sweet. Some alcohol bite for sure. Tasty grab.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 8/24/2016. Pours hazy orange/amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Dense foamy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, papaya, passion fruit, mango, melon, guava, apricot, peach, lemon/orange peel, light pepper, pine, honey, caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of juicy/dank citrus/tropical/pine hops and dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, papaya, passion fruit, mango, melon, guava, apricot, peach, lemon/orange peel, light pepper, pine, honey, caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, papaya, passion fruit, mango, melon, apricot, lemon/orange rind, pine, honey, caramel, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy/dank citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and minimal astringent hop flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, that increases through that glass. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, sticky/resinous, and moderately creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is an outstanding DIPA! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy/dank citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV. A highly enjoyable offering.

12 oz. can from Greg and Jane’s, Epping, NH. Color is a cloudy orange / Amber color with thin lasting head. Aroma of mango, peach and pineapple notes. Light pine.
Thankfully the grain bill is balanced by assertive bitterness. Citrus rind or pith bitterness. The negative is the nearly 10 percent ABV is not really hidden at all. Body is medium with a creamy "airy" mouthfeel that normally isn’t found in the style. The harsh slap of booze keeps this out of the top tier in style but... Still pretty nice.

Slim can from Bert’s Pours a slightly hazy Light golden color with a decent sized bubbly white head that slowly dissipates. Resinous pine and tropical fruity nose with bits of bready malt at the edges. Sweet bready with faint caramel and plenty of resinous pine and a touch of alcohol in the flavor. I think I like this a bit more than resin and from what I remember the alcohol isn’t as harsh. Great beer.

Best by 24 August, 2016.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a soft hazy burnt/cloudy orange color with a thin white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Lacing was speckled and roaming all over the place.
The smell had a big citrus to orange bursting hoppiness up front over resinous to a ton of danky sweet onion goodness. All combining wonderfully.
The taste copied the smell pretty much spot on with a dry semi-sweet lingering orange pulpiness sliding into a sticky/almost creamy finish. Yeah, me of all people, I just said a DIPA has a \"creamy\" finish. Hmmm...no one stare, damn it (for many years, I have never found a DIPA to be \"creamy\" at all, okay, well, finally, Sixpoint actually pulled it off, hmmm...okay - hard stare, anyways - well, its a good hard stare).
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a dry sweet resinous harshness impounding appropriate bitterness units Still, the way it moves with a sliding smoothness strolling over my tongue. It’s a strange one to say the least. Definitely fits the DIPA style and yet the ABV (as I tend to find with most Sixpoint IPA/DIPA’s).
Overall, as a DIPA, it definitely works for the style yet finally, of all companies and one of my favorites, yes, Sixpoint pulled it off - the smooth/creamy finish, I’ve been looking for in a DIPA. Kudos to them!
