Romans are apple cider, yeast, spice and a little funk. Flavors are similar to nose with a nice balance between sweet, tart and bitter. Mildly sweet finish. Decent.

On tap at Marchfest 2025. Clear golden orange with almost no head. Loads of apple and apple juicy, some apple skins. Some sweetness, pleasant tartness.

Old can I found on Press online. 2016 harvest, Lot 0617, imported by Shelton, lol. Snifter @home. Thin, unstable head, clear, amber pour. Sweet, macerated apple brandy nose. Taste is round & flat, low tart, cooked dessert apples & a little bittersweet. Hint of toffee. Earthy middle-end black tea lets the acid creep on the finish. Low, prickly carb, tacky. Very mellow. Last of this brand I'll see for a while.

Can shared. Almost clear pale straw with short lasting fizzy white head. Sour apples, fresh apple juice, dry apple peel, dry mineral notes and light cellar funk. Under medium sweet and sour, soft bitter. Light bodied, almost medium dry. Sparkly carbonation.

500ml bottle 5.6% from Hop, Burns & Black. 2014 Vintage, Lot 0914. Sparkling yellowy golden colour with a white foam head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of mellow fruity apple with caramel & vanilla. Taste is tangy, musty fruity apple, alittle apple skin, bittersweet, plus some vanilla notes and light tannins. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry tart fruity finish. Quite drinkable.
