440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Sandnes Kvadrat. ABV is 8.0%. Belgian style Christmas seasonal. Dark brown colour, large beige head. Aroma of brown malts, brown kandij sugar syrup, Belgian ale yeast and dark dried fruits, hints of Christmas spices. Medium sweet flavour with the same elements, very moderate hops. Might well buy again.

440ml can. Pours a remaining fawn-coloured head leaving spotty lacing behind, near-clear brown-orange body. Inviting on the nose with caramel fruit. Quite rich taste of toffee-caramel, dried fruit and some impacts of syrup, lightly spiced. Caramel fruity end, mid-sweet, long lived. Well bodied. Like it. (Tromsø, 17.02.2026).

Can @ home. Almost clear deep amber body under a big tan head. Aroma of malt, toffee, dry fruit and spicy Belgium yeast. Taste is balanced sweet malt, toffee, brown sugar, dry fruit, Belgium yeast and moderate bitterness. Alcohol is well integrated. A classic Belgium dubbel, nice and tasty.
