Bottle. Clear golden amber color, white head. Aroma of herbs and citrus. Basil flavors don’t really integrate well with the rest of the beer, which has mostly fruity citrus.

Cloudy dark golden with a small off-white head, some lacing. Aroma of herbal tea. Flavors are herbal, basil and tea
Good but the basil overpowers the rest of the beer.

Sample at the taproom. Pours a slightly hazy reddish-amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, basil and malt. Light to medium body with a strong spicy basil character with notes of hops and bready malt behind it. The finish is sweet with a basil and hops aftertaste. Almost too much, but decent overall.

A golden ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt over loads of basil leaves, light mint, nice. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with dry character, loads of basil, surprisingly nice. On tap at brewery.
