Aroma is fairly fruity with grape and grape must notes. Some lighter lemon and under ripe stone fruit. Hints of melon and papaya. Light oak notes and a light alcohol note. A touch floral
Pours a hazy, pinkish, reddish orange with a small, moderately thick, frothy, white head that recedes quickly to the edges and disappears. No lacing or legs.
Flavor is somewhat sweet with light grain notes. Medium bitterness and medium light alcohol notes. Lots of fruity grape flavor with some grape must as well. Light melon, stone fruit and lemon notes. Medium light oak notes.
Mouthfeel is medium full.bodoed with medium low carbonation. Medium low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a solid grape saison lots of wine-like notes in the aroma and flavor. Could use a bit more SARA funk to balance out the grape sweetness.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Light sour aroma. Sour and white wine flavor with citrus. Medium bodied. Sour and white wine linger with light citrus.

On tap at Uba ja Humal, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has a strange murky blend of the white wine and saison character, with some wood glue that’s quite prominent, musty grape skins, and earthiness. Flavour is a little better, with plenty of white wine grape skins, a touch of wood glue, farmhouse notes, and moderate acidity. I like the Pinot Gris notes but I’m less convinced of the rest. Decent but way subpar for SARA.

Collab with a winery, ba saison w/ pinot gris. Slight haze, low head. Big vinous, barrelly nose, brings some diacetyl with it. Soft body, the grapey notes are sweet, no diacetyl, the body big and the barrels only lightly rounding things out. This ends up working out well. Draft, Oakland, Sept 2025.
