0.44 l can. Dark. Aroma is chocolate, oak, roasty, some dried fruit and slightly vinous with hints of red fruit. Medium to full body, smooth texture, soft to moderate carbonation, moderately sweet, alcohol hidden, light touch of vinous tartness. Flavour is oak, charred wood, toasty and roasty notes, a soft vinous touch and a hint of red fruit. Good balance. Finishes medium dry with alcohol hidden.

Can from Pomalo, shared with the ST crew. Black-red body off-whtie head. Smooth but subdued aroma, with red wine notes mixing with heaps of caramel. Hm. Smooth, caramelly, nutty taste, lean wine notes, minerally, bit herbal, light herbal finish. Very much a failed combo of grapes and stout, not much was drawn from them other than the color. I trust ZB saying he had a can that was much better in that regard, but the one we had was... questionable.

Can, 0.44l. Black pour, one finger frothy beige head, medium retention, broken lacing on the glass. Nose is coffee, roasted malt, dark chocolate. Bready notes, slightly smoked.

Medium body, medium carbonation, lively. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, somewhat lighter than expected, soft, creamy, some stickiness to it. Roasty bittersweet taste with subtle tart notes in the background. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate. Bread, molasses, berries. Mild grapes and cherries in the back. Kinda expected a stronger wine flavor, given the name of the beer. Medium lasting finish, dry, warming, lingering roasty bitterness.

Quite ok but somewhat underwhelming. Expected something a bit more "special".
