Bottle thanks to a trade! Pours a clear copper with a light yellow brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice smoke note with some sweet grains and a bit of hickory. Flavor has that same nice smoke note with a decent amount of hickory and a sweet grain backbone.

22oz bomber, courtesy of SHIG, thanks Shawn, pours with a clear mahogany colored body that supports a thin tan head. The aroma offers up smooth soft meaty smokiness flowing into caramel malts, thin roasted malts and a sense of dark fruity esters. The taste delivers a blend of sweet malts, caramel like malts and then smooth soft alderwood like smokiness. It gets a little mineral like toward the finish amid the malts and smookiness. Solid brew that creates a pleasing balance.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy chestnut brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out notes of peaty smoke and toasted nuts. Flavour is similar, with lots of peaty smoke. Not much else discernible. Well-done smoked beer, but not a whole lot else going on. Solid.
