The Craft : Reserva Edelrood – Single Barrel embodies a vision in which we integrate and fuse our homemade wines with our lambic tradition. A blend of cherry lambic and Pinot Noir, spontaneously fermented, aged in foeder, and followed by an additional year of barrel maturation.
The Experience : An extra year of barrel aging on the original Edelrood blend gives this bottle exceptional refinement. Time brought soft acidity, deep wood notes, and a round, fruity character. Flavours are fully integrated and of outstanding quality. To preserve this, we bottled without refermentation, as a wine.

Pours clear amberred. Scent is beautifully balanced, red fruityness pops, but becomes something unique. Taste is full, malty lambic, low acidity. Fruityness very present. Lacks some carbonation to me, it'd lift up the mouthfeel as well as the taste perception.

Sampled at Billies day 1. Clear red color, odd, no head. Smell and taste are very pleasant balanced red fruit with barnyard influences. I like this one.

7/XI/25 - 75cl bottle @ Billies Craft Beer Festival Day 1 - Session 2 (Antwerp), BB: n/a (2025-1156) Thanks to all for sharing today’s beers!
Clear carmine red beer, practically no head. Aroma: funky, lambic, earthy, a little fruity, brett notes, ok but not great. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish start, lemony, dry, bitter, woody, ok but not the best. Aftertaste: dry, tannins, earthy, woody, fruity touch, some cherries, red currants.
