27/6/2026. Can at the ITFC world cup beer share. From BrewDog, courtesy of ITFCDan. Lots of smoked ham, with some fruitiness. Not a style I usually enjoy but this was nice.

Golden, slightly hazy, topped with a creamy head. The aroma is modest, with a light maltiness and subtle citrus. The taste is citrusy, with tangerine zest and a light maltiness. Medium-bodied, delicately saturated, and semi-dry. Slight bitterness, notes of grass and herbs, and the beech smoke is rather retronasal. The tangerine and smoke could be more pronounced.

Huge, dense yellowish head over almost clear metallic yellow-golden beer. Rauchmalz, mineral, smokey, also something like tangerine peel. More smoke malt, and again this sweetish-citrussy flavour as from tangerines. Light bodied, medium to well-carbonated. Interesting and amusing take on the Rauchbier idea. Txs to Stef!

Can at home picked up from BrewDog online. A mostly clear golden orange coloured pour with a lasting looser white head. Aroma is pale grains, smoky birch, straw, grass, light rubber. Flavour is crisp , light grains, straw, simple grains, white wood, mellow smoke. Pretty crushable.

33 cl can. Pours clear and golden yellow, white head. Aroma is smoked and light citrusy. Crisp hoppy. Hops citrusfruity. Lingering hoppy and smooth smoked. Mellow and fruity far finish.

Can from BrewDoge online. It pours clear golden - blonde with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is smooth smoked, bonfire, smoked meat & cheese, oak and some orangery citrus in the backdrop. The taste is initially smooth, then firms and dries out, smooth smoke, toasty grains, smoked cheese, distant bonfire, slightly charred, sweet malts, sponge cake, some pithy orangey citrus vibes towards the finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. Decent, but I probably would have preferred more smoke and citrus character.
