Bottle courtesy of nuplastikk, thank you! Hazy deep golden amber color, white spider web head with good staying power. Aroma has orange and pineapple. Taste is bitter citrus, but there’s a very bitter and slightly papery component underlying it that detracts.

12 oz bottle purchased at Princeton Liquors in Maple Grove, Minnesota. The pour is a lightly hazed orange golden with a ½ inch mostly white head that falls quick. The aroma is citrus, orange peel, and husky grain. The taste is the grainy, not so fresh malt up front followed by the lightly bitter citrus, and finishing with a dry floral mineral character. The palate is medium bodied, lower carbonation level, and the dry finish. Just OK.

12oz bottle. Grapefruit peel makes sense. Orange-tan body, creamy off-white head. Medium to full bodied, the grapefruit rind is sort of an odd call, considering you can get more enjoyable, very similar tones with hops. Ends of having a fruit beer taste almost, and while it is clean, just isn’t really what I’d look for in a session Pale Ale. OK.

Bottle thanks to a trade! Pours a clear apricot with a near white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a combination of grassy and light citrus hops with some light sweet grains underlying. Flavor has light citrus up front with a touch of light fruit, grass and sweet grains underlying.

12 ounce bottle thanks to khoffman43 . Pours a clear copper color with some hints of ruby, a large white head. A sweet malty nose with some oranges and pepper. A fairly smooth and very light flavor with some floral hops and sweet earthy malts. Missing anything that stands out. Looks nice. Decent.

Pours a nice orangish-brown with good sized head and quite a bit of lacing in the glass as head dissipates. This is a very refreshing pale ale with a nice touch of hops bitterness and fruity notes, provided by the grapefruit peel. Quite tasty.

Shaker @ moto-i. Completely dirty, murky orange. Has a sticky surface covering lacing. Aroma is hops of tangerine and light fruit punch. Flavor is a bit more muffled and a bit more tangerine and less fruit punch. Descent stuff, not vibrant enough.

Winterfest 2009. Very sweet for the style. Some caramel. Gold color, and moderate hops with citrus. Good, drinkable, sessionable pale ale.
