Semi opaque dark brown - amber beer, a small tan head that lasts precisely no time at all. Soft palate, a mild dryness, modest fine carbonation, fine for this brew. Good malts, a nice creamy sweetness with a good caramel and dark toffee. A wet wood overripe whiskey soaked dark fruits vibe. Touch of oak induced vanilla. Some alcohol spice. The chocolate is quite subtle flavour wise but, provides sweetness and richness. Soft finish. A rich and varied barleywine that is ready to drink now.

Sampled at Billies, day 2. Darkbrown to black color, no head. Aroma and flavor are malts, soy sauce and a little sourish note with wood / barrel. Meh not great. 7-6-4,5-6-5

Poured near black in color.
Sweet and syrupy with raisins, booze and barrel. Unbalanced and messy to be fair.

A bit messy, sweet and syrupy with some chocolate, sweet oakiness, toffee, cocoa and caramely maltiness, hints of tartness. Quite heavy and sweet, unbalanced.
