23/XII/25 - on tap, shared with the misses @ Hôp[i] taproom (Lille), BB: n/a (2025-1466)
Rather cloudy orange blond beer, small creamy off-white head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of strawberry jam, candy, sugary impression, a hint of diacetyl, some yoghurt, more jam. This does not smell promising for an IPA. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet and sugary start, lots of diacetyl, caramel, spoiled yoghurt, pretty bad, very unpleasant. Aftertaste: more diacetyl, gentle bitterness, some jam, yoghurt, very buttery, slightly infected as well, sourish, not good, pretty darn dirty, yuck.

330ml bottle from Brasserie du Pays Flamand. Pours a hazed gold, large white head. Smooth, light tone.. doesn't taste anything like 8%. Definitely a smooth layered malt mouthfeel from the three grains used, wanted to get more defined hop notes but they're just not there. Generally fine.
