12yr anniversary west coast-style india pale ale hopped with krush, strata and citra; T90, cryo and hyperboost of all 3!
Mashed with local malted barley along with a dash of dextrin malt and a pinch of flaked oats. Fermented with our preferred westy house ipa yeast strain for ultimate crushability. Hopped extra intensely with citra and strata along with krush, which has become a total house favorite. . Fermented fully for a decidedly dry finish and cold conditioned for beautifully brilliant clarity.

Pounder from Appalachian; $4.95. No born on date, but this Anniversary beer was just released last month.
Lo-Ball glass at home. Glad this isn't a hazy. Middling 14k gold, decent head, thin but lingering froth.
Scent is a meld of dark berries, dried apricot potpourri & confectionary, emitting a soft pillowy nose.
Even though it's a west coast, they still use these silly new hops, so I'm getting that rot-y sweet onion flavor, green melon & dank, over the more traditional Citra brightness. Bitterness is earthy & really astringent, which is a save. Taste has a soapy-bitter peach & onion thing on the finish.
Super dry, pithy, dry mouth, thin body, slight salinity, nice 7% warming without the ugly booze flavor. Excellent body.
Good+. Would be better with more traditional hops. Glad these folks are still brewing.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma of citrus and weed. Med body. A bit malty and pretty bitter. Flavor is citrus, weed, melon and an earth note. Some peach after a bit.
