Ruby red IPA with a sackful of malt and hop flavour. Crystal malts offer some caramel and toffee, with a touch of chocolate malt to deepen the colour- while the hops give a burst of orange zest and apricot with some ripe berry and tropical fruit underneath. Magnum, Idaho 7, Amarillo & Mosaic.

[44cl can from Home Bargains, Bracknell.] A copper coloured pour with a thick cream coloured head; aroma of berries with a little pine; sweet caramel malt body nicely balanced by some tart berries; then an earthy bitterness to finish. Very drinkable, but a little thin.

Can from Home Bargains. Clear amber body with a beige head that holds well. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of caramel and stewed tea. Flavour of cranberry and candy. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Tangy and slightly sugary.

Thin tight off white head on a reddish brown coloured body.
Berry & pine aroma.
Medium bodied, finely carbonated thinning out to a clean back.
Malt, berries, grain & caramel tastes with a bitter finish.
All a bit mixed up

Love Lane 'Lovin' at Home. Beer 3 of 3 for the evening. Darker amber coloured final beer of the trio. Crisp, traditional tasting for these isle, with a fair bitterness factor. The red ale has an underlying berry-sweetness available in both aroma and taste.
