Organic Beer refermented in ex-Cider barrels, 4.2% alc./vol.

We brewed and fermented this beer with our house culture back in April 2021 and left it to referment in some ex-Little Pomona cider barrels. It was transferred for marrying in April 2023 and left alone for another year. We bottled in April 2024 and then left it again. We’re finally releasing this month (October 2025) in the midst of the apple harvests.

It’s a very refreshing, light, appley beer, with a little spritzy effervescence and well-balanced acidity. Perfect for sharing. Best drunk cold.

This is a natural beer - raw, unfined, unfiltered and vegan.

330ml direct from Futtle. It pours clear pale greenish - good with a small, bubbly white head. The aroma is musty, funky, crunchy green apple, pear skin, white grape, soor plooms, premium cider, sherbet, mucky farmyard and dry oak. The taste is dry, crisp, crunchy, tart, puckering, zingy, dry white wine, cider, nip of acidity, crunchy green apple, pear skin, white grape, gooseberry, barnyard funk, dry oak, and floral accents with a dry, slightly puckering finish. Light+ body , fine carbonation and smooth mouth feel. Lovely flavour profile and balance.
