Draft. Slightly hazy golden amber color, medium white head. Aroma of pine resin and grapefruit. Taste has nicely balanced citrus and pine. Very tasty.

6oz draft. I had no idea this was an imperial IPA, which I think is the best kind of Imperial IPA. Golden colored beer, the hops are low on bitterness. The malts just hold the structural background. Its a greeny, not piney or grassy hop. I do not get a much citrus or tropical fruits.

~10 oz tulip draft at Barley’s in Leawood, Kansas. The pour is a mostly clear orange golden with a well formed off white head. Pretty beer, nice lace on the glass. The aroma is full and fresh mango citrus hop along with a grainy grass. Pine is evident as the beer warms. The taste is the tropical citrus hop, fresh and immediate, along with hay, grass the pine, toast cracker malt and some earth mineral toward the back. The palate is medium to heavier bodied with natural carbonation and a bitter grass hop finish. A bit of alcohol warmth and malt sweetness peek in as well. Solid fresh hop beer.

Keg at World of Beer Charlottesville. Hazy orange, thin creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, lemon, pale malt. The taste is grapefruit, lemon, lime, resin, pale malt. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness.
