22oz bottle pours a murky black with some cloudy, white head. Nose has chocolate malt, some molasses, toast, light barrel. Flavor has a little soy, light smoke, brown sugar, molasses, a little umami. Full bodied, sticky finish.

Bottle at the DC Gathering. Bought in Sacramento during my Summer 2014 trip. Aromas of cocoa, dark chocolate, roast. Tastes of cocoa, dark chocolate, roasted coffee. Medium body with a dry finish.

Bottle. Clear dark brown color, tan edge head. Chocolate aroma. Taste has licorice, cocoa, coffee. Decent.

Bomber from Whole Foods in Folsom, CA. Pours very dark brown with a slight dark tan head. Aroma is chocolate and yeast. Med + body. Flavor is dark chocolate, smooth burnt malt and some hints of yeast. Trying to get some fruit ester, but the chocolate is pretty strong. There’s a bit of heat hitting the back of my throat, but not much. Pretty solid and tasty stuff.
