A spruce-infused pale ale, Pennsylvania Tuxedo pays homage to the flannel-suited hunters and gatherers who dwell deep in the backcountry of north-central PA.
Brewed in collaboration with family-run outdoor clothing company Woolrich, Pennsylvania Tuxedo is a sessionable concoction with a grassy citrus kick complemented by the resinous conifer notes of fresh green spruce tips. We went into the forests of north-central Pennsylvania and Georgetown, Del., to pick these fresh tips ourselves.
A dry yet doughy malt backbone lets the hops and spruce shine while still balancing out the bitterness, making this one an easy sipper.

Draught @ George Keeley. Light amber with large foamy beige head, orange aroma, high carbonation, medium bitter grapefruit taste, smooth body, longish bitter finish. Very smooth and tasty.

bottle - Pours deep amber and smells of spruce and citrusy hops. The spruce definitely leads the flavor. Ever wanted to drink a Xmas tree? That sounds bad, but this beer actually works pretty well. Citrus and earthy characteristics and some good hops bitterness join the spruce. Interesting. I’d probably bump up the rating if the spruce wasn’t quite so strong though.

Bottle from total wine. Pours orange-Amber with a. Small white head. Aroma of pine, citrus peel. Holy shit. This tastes just like eating a bush. Pine all over the effing place. Light citrus backbone but overwhelming pine. Nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a nice rich amber from a bottle. Aroma is spruce, flavor is spruce. I didn’t pick up on this until the beer had sufficiently warmed, however (have a bit of a cold right now), so don’t serve it super cold or you’ll be all "what the?" A very nice rich IPA that is very balanced with its main adjunct. Very good beer.

Doesn't have a taste to me. Could be the gum I was chewing.
