750 mL bottle poured. My goodness. Thank you so much Prufrockstar! This might just be the most interesting brew I have tried within my favorite style. I feel like from this day forward, there will be pepper beers, and then there will be this one. Shared with Luttonm. Pours a burnt reddish brown color, active carb, moderate foam head. Aromatic from a distance, but not necessarily a big pepper there. Rather, it's more of a fruit and vegetable mix, with some odd sour indications. Flavor presents a little heat up front, and it grows as it leads to a long linger. The pepper is combined with what seems like a red cherry fruit along with it's sweetness. Sour flanders red/brown with cherries added, barrel aged with Trinidad Scorpion? Could that be it? Well damnit, they beat me to it!

750ml bottle with heavy orange wax pours a murky amber with some cloudy, white head. Looks terrible. Nose has mild Fresno pepper, some strawberry, malt. Flavor has bile and some yellow bell pepper, lots of tomato, some chili, some tabasco. Finishes with some acetic tabasco in the throat.

Bottle at the November 2015 DC Gathering. Poured a hazy, almost muddy brown color with an off-white head. surprisingly not awful. no heat though. strawberry fruit roll up with tomato paste notes? I guess - I’m probably trying to be way more critical of this than I’d normally be. This is actually not awful for my first CIB beer.

Bottle courtesy of HuskerTan, thanks - I think. Generously shared with my grateful tasting group. Pour wax job, one appearance point off. Murky orange color. Aroma of spiced orange peel. Taste has pepper flesh, light heat and spice. Inoffensive.

Bottle, purchased lovingly from John’s grocery and carefully stored for the perfect moment to spring it on the tasting group. Again, loving that little string in the wax - makes life much easier. Pour is hazy ruby amber, small beige head that dissipates fairly quickly and leaves some lacing on the glass. Aroma is orange, pepper, cleaning fluid, malts. Flavor is medium sweet, a bit of tartness (infection?), medium heat - not overpowering by any means. Pepper flavors evident. Light body. After Morning Wood I was expecting the worst, but I must say this was a surprisingly drinkable beer. Another CIB tick for me, along with the shot of RB street cred that goes with it!

@Pauls new condo Tasting-22oz bottle shared by jtclockwork-thin offwhite-hazy copper. A-tomato, hint of pepper, med malt. T-tomato quickly overtaken by heat/pepper, some acidic. Finish is pepper.

Bottle I brought to Paul’s tasting. Pours muddy brown with tan head. Nose of tomato juice, V8, garlic and tomato sauce. Taste is mostly pepper heat through some sour malt. Taste is actually quite pleasant. The nose not so much. Medium body.

Parkville Fest 2013. Orange/golden color. This was served cold but I did not find this all that spicy. The light burn first started in the throat and built up. Definitely noticeable but nothing as hot as the Twisted Pine Ghost Face Killa.
