Bottle at the November 2015 DC Gathering. Poured a cloudy amber color with a white head. Aroma was... strange. A touch sweet, herbal. Flavor was brown sugar, with some light toffee and a light earthy note to it.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off white head. Aroma is butterish and caramelish. Flat sweet malty, caramelish, syrupy and somewhat butterish. Light bitterness. Dry malty and caramelish finish, light alcohol presence. Bitterness increases into the far finish. Didnt pick up the cherry smoked wood.
