Canned. Poured an incredibly opaque and thick deep brown. White beige head. Basically milk chocolate shake. As chocolate as it gets but not bitter at all. Cries for ice cream

Draught, half pint. @«Mash Beer Festival», Barcelona (Spain), 25/10/2019. Black with a medium tan head. Aroma is intense coffee and soft licorice. Taste is peanut butter, capuccino and roasted malts leading to a medium roasty finish. Next one please!

16oz can pours out dark brown topped with a small fizzy tan head. Nose is sweet malts chocolate cake vanilla. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate coffee vanilla cake.

Refrigerated 16 oz. aluminum can poured into a snifter. Aroma is rich cocoa, medium body, oily texture, well carbonated, and little lacing. Taste cocoa and milk chocolate. Lighter than most impy stouts, but I really like this one.

Can, from The Wine Source. Clear dark brown with faint reddish highlights, very small frothy beige head, mocha-maple aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter maple syrup infused coffee taste, bit of chocolate, thin body, long syrupy finish. The maple syrup aftertaste is a bit too much.

Dark brown coloured body with a light tan head, about two centimetres tall at first that fades quite quickly. Aroma of roasted malt, oatmeal, light grain, some cereal and a ton of milk chocolate - nothing too deep or potent, just a lot of it that smells more of a chocolate bar and less of a set of good quality chocolate. Medium to Full-bodied; Thinnish flavours at first with a big dose of chocolate, light oatmeal and some other grains around the edges with an earthy and nutty flavour that shows the chocolate even more with little else in the way - perhaps some lightly roasted peat, but that's about it. Aftertaste is dry and earthy, with some light nuttiness, but the chocolate dominates throughout here - it isn't strong, but it is dense and plentiful without much other flavours at all - just sweet and chocolatey. Overall, a decent beer and perhaps a better sweet stout that most, but this is quite thin and very one-dimensional...and that is considering that this should be a 'sweet stout'. This, categorised as an 'imperial stout' is far less removed from a beer that you should try, and my rating for this one, if it was a Sweet Stout would be a much more 'nice': 8,4,8,3,14, but unfortunately for this one, it isn't. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in Pentagon City (Arlington), Virginia on 20-December-2017 for US$2,99 sampled at home on the Eastern Shore of Virginia in Pungoteague, Virginia on 20-April-2018.
