Mind the Hop is a Double IPA that really hits home for us. One of the first beers we ever made. MTH is Double Dry Hopped with Citra which gives it notes of citrus and tropical fruit salad. Light pine and a little bitterness help round it out.
Admin Note: Like other Aslin IPAs, recipes bounce back and forth between double dry-hopping and not. The cans aren't labeled differently.

Can shared in Buffalo. Pours orange-gold with a creamy, white head. Gooey citrus fruits in the nose, pine, bready malts. Medium to big sweet flavour, lots of ripe citrus, oily pine, marmalade. Full bodied, chewy, with fine carbonation. Resinous finish, really sweet, bready, some melon, pine, caramel. Just OK.

Can into taster showing hazy lightly filtered dark orange with white lacing. The nose shows subtle orange and pineapple. The palate is highly carbonated and medium bodied with a lot of prickly alcohol. Flavors of light melon and stone fruit (orange/apple) with a light NE style malty sweetness on the mid palate.

Hazy Medium amber golden color. High alpha hop character with onion and restrained citrus notes. Medium full body, but hops don’t shine as much as I expected. Alcohol is apparent but not over the top. Modest bitterness. Ok

Big fruity head similar to their standard IPA. Tangerine and pineapple. Some straw in background and pretty discernible malt background. Light bitter finish - this one finishes better than the standard. Tap at brewery.

Draft at the source. Hazy bright golden orange color, fluffy white head. Nice aroma of mango, pineapple. Taste is juicy tropical fruit, nicely balanced. Maybe my favorite Aslin beer so far.

12oz pour at the brewery, pours a murky peach orange with some lacing white head. Nose has a lot of candy and juice, peach, nectarine, orange, some guava. Flavor follows right along, guava and mango, candy, orange, tangerine. Full, sweet and bitter finish. Nice.
