Naming:
The original meaning of a "Sharaku", or "Sharakumono" is essentially the character or personality in a public place who gets attention through their being an entertainer, whether simply funny, a good storyteller, or generally charismatic. This type of person is exactly the type you might find in a British pub, creating atmosphere at the bar, and so we felt this a good fit for such a beer, which we hope will be enjoyed casually, and with plenty of witticisms shared over it!
Food Pairing:
Pulled pork sandwich with plenty of melted cheese, apple and caramel tartine, chocolate fondant

Of course, I’ll kick things off with the coffee beer:

KBC Sharaku Coffee Brown Ale 5%

This great looking ruby brown pour with tan foam has a really nice sweet coffee aroma. Light bodied and dry with mild tobacco and treacle notes. Solid.
