Bulimba Gold Top was first brewed way back in 1898 next to what is now the Oxford Street Ferry Terminal in Bulimba. Carlton & United have decided to breath some new life into a beer that hasn’t been spotted since the 1980s. For a very limited time, you can purchase Bulimba Top Gold in its retro packaging that still takes its lead from the local Bulimba football team.

On tap at Brisbane Airport. Golden bronze beer with solid white head. A few bubbles ascend. Mild malty nose. Zingy, malty, not bad. Finish has a touch of dry grain and very slight bitterness. Very similar to Carlton Pale Ale.
