From a 12 oz can. Pours a hazy gold with a big fluffy white head. Aromas are of hay. Flavors are bitter pine. Smooth finish. Decent.

12 ounce can from Brookings SD Liquor Store, 8/25/20. Hazy orange, thin foamy white head, fair retention. Aroma of canned tropical fruit cocktain - mango primarily - and pale malt. Taste is pineapple, mango, grapefruit, pale malt. Medium bodied, juicy, moderate bitterness.

On tap at Fernson, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out citrus hops, light fruitiness and biscuity malt. Flavour is very fruity, with lots of tropical stone fruits, citrus hops, and biscuity malt. Damn, this is sure fruity and vibrant. Excellent IPA.

Slightly hazy copper and light amber coloured body with a nice, super dense, four to five centimetre tall white head that leaves a pretty ugly lace on the sides of the glass. Aroma of bitter hop pellets, some light grain, a dose of bread and a heavy yeast bite. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and herbal hops with a large bitterness at first, then shows some malt notes with biscuits and light grain with a heavy bitterness from some citrus and herbal notes - very nice and incredibly hoppy and bitter, especially at the end. Aftertaste is very dry, in a great way, with the hops hitting hard like a West Coast IPA with a obtuse bitterness and a good balance of malt detected at the end, but this is all about the hops in a good way. Overall, a surprisingly good IPA that shows a big West Coast vibe, but the aroma was off-putting at best, given it's hop pellet aroma, but the bitterness is unmistakable, in a good way - this is great. Definitely worth trying to find if you like real (read West Coast) IPAs with bite and bitterness without gimmicks, especially this one from South Dakota?!? I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Hy-Vee in Omaha, Nebraska on 14-March-2018 for US$1,67 sampled at home in Washington on 14-April-2018, exactly a month later!

Draft/Fest. A- Black pepper, citrus, malty, pine. A- Gold color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Spiced, pine, bitter. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, spiced finish. O- Lots of spice and lots of pine. An odd IPA that sadly I've been able to find any info on. Curious of the actual abv.

12 oz can. The beer is light to medium amber and pretty cloudy. Thick off white head. Lots of lacing. Caramel and a mix of pine and citrus hoppiness in the aroma. The malt is the dominant flavor, while the hops play more of a supporting role. Candy orange and woody pine Pretty boring and well worn hop flavor territory. Moderate bitterness. It’s on the sweeter side for an IPA but not quite as much as expected from the aroma. Lots of toasty malt flavor, though. Easy to drink. Fairly smooth and full on the palate but bitterness picks up in the finish. Bland piney finish. I realize they were going for an easier to drink IPA, but for that, they really need more hop flavor and less bland bitterness.

Sampled from the tap at the downtown location. Pours a near clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges slowly and laces. Aroma is melon forward with notes of sweet grass and light citrus supporting. Flavor has light sweet citrus and melon with a bit of grass and straw in the finish.
