At Fort George, we’ve been making wood fired pizza for over a decade. Our friends at North Park Beer Co also know a thing or two about pizza. They’re well-known throughout San Diego for serving up sensational thin-crust pizza, superb hazy IPAs and splendidly sociable vibes.
Pizza Pals is the perfect beer for pizza: An opaque, dark yellow hazy IPA. Dank, pithy orange and pineapple with a little kick of sweet peach candy.
Hops: Citra, Eclipse, Citra Cryo, Citra Dynaboost, Citra CO2 Extract, Simcoe Cryo, Krush Cryo, Ekuanot Cry
Malts: Briess Pilsen, TF Malted Oats, Crisp Chit, Weyermann Acidulated

Aroma: dank, juicy, creamy, tropical fruits.
Taste: along the same lines, just a little bit of hop burn, tropical fruits.

Pours a hazy yellow with an initial big head of foam, shrinks quickly but overall retention is good. Lacing is good as well.
The smell is grapefruit, orange zest, pineapple, quite fruity in general.
The taste is grapefruit, orange zest, sweet pineapple, some dank notes. Quite typical of the style.
Medium bodied with lightish carbonation.
I would not bother drinking this again. That's just me.

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Hazy yellow pour, small creamy white head. Mild aroma of citrus peel, zesty. Taste is mellow and juicy, notes of grapefruit and tangerine, finishing with some lingering zestiness on the tongue.
