Special Release Series. Noir blends two signature brews of the Pacific Northwest: coffee and beer. This coffee milk stout combines roasted malts with smooth cold brewed coffee from Stumptown Coffee Roasters. A subtle sweetness from milk sugar (lactose) makes this beer reminiscent of the most satisfying cup of joe; distinctive and delectable.

Bomber. Where are the apes? Aroma is coffee, earthy, medium roast. Pours black with red highlights and a medium beige head with good retention and excellent lace. Taste is much more in-your-face coffee than the aroma let on with lots of roast, lightly sweet with a dry and bitter finish; has a vegetal flavor that doesn’t bug me too much. Perfect creamy mouthfeel. One of the better coffee beers I’ve had.
