Clear, copper colored, medium off white head, good lasting. Aroma is of malt, biscuit, fruity, apple. Taste is medium sweet malt, biscuit, some fruity notes, apple, bit floral hops, medium-light bitterness. Medium- bodied, soft carbonation. Nice Tank but a boring bitter. Bottle courtesy of BlackHaddock at the Shrewsbury tasting on Oct 5, thanks all! Picture of a tank on the label earns this one an extra point for appearance. Slightly hazy golden amber color, white edge head. Malty aroma. Taste is slightly oxidized caramel. Decent.

500ml bottle @ Shrewsbury Beer Share, Travlr edition, Oct 15, courtesy of Jeremiah Haddock. Pours deep gold with a sweet malty aroma. Taste is a little dusty, thin and flat with tired malts appearing a little faded & burnt-out. Wasn’t destined to be the beer of the night.

500ml bottle: the first beer in a relaxed tasting session with the Shrewsbury beer exchange group and a guest called Gene. I brought this to the tasting because i thought it would be interesting and different for our guest. it wasn’t. Golden pour with a white top, looked OK, the bottle labelling was OK too: it went downhill a little from there. Malts rule the brew in both the nose and flavour, semi-sweet molasses dominate a pretty unbalanced and sadly bland beer. Saved only by my sweet tooth which picked up on and liked the caramel flavours.
