Bottle @ benzai shared by me. Clear yellow colour with a medium sized white head. Smells malts, grains, fresh. Tastes malts, grains.. It’s a fairly nice pilsener, but those are hard to describe imo. Thin to medium body, soft carbo.

On 25th Oct 13 I visited ’Beers of Europe’, the following day I shared a few bottles with a mate: this was one of those bottles. Half-litre flip-top with three months left from it’s BBD. Poured a light gold; bright, clear and clean. The snow white head soon turning into a thin wisp and collar. Slightly more malts in the nose and taste but not enough to call this a ’malty pils’, mild flavours throughout and almost bland in character to be honest. A typical German Pilsner in every way, meaning it’s well made but lacks any individuality. Mr Average.
