When we knew Vince from DSSOLVR was heading over from Asheville, NC for Dark & Wild last month, we just had to hit him up for a collab brew on the way through. Using a triumvirate of New Zealand hops in Nelson Sauvin, Rakau & Riwaka, we've brewed a DIPA chock-full of the classic NZ vineyard and diesel nose and loads of grapefruit, passionfruit and pine.

440ml can. Opaque yellow with a white head. Aroma is a heady mix of tropical, citrus, and vinous qualities. Taste of mandarin, grapefruit, mango, passionfruit, Nelson's white wine and dank herb, peppery hop spice and pine, pithy citrus finish. Medium bodied, smooth.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small and short lived pale cream colour head. Smooth and mildly dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation on the back end. Light bodied pale malts bring smooth but slightly dry creamy sweetness. The NZ hop trip serve up light cooling pine and a mellow savoury skunk. Fairly intense hop fruits. Nelson grape into light but juicy citrus. Trace of lime. Riwaka exotics. Very mild hop spice on the semi dry finish. A fully flavoured dipa as you would expect from Track. The body, for me, mildly sub par. More hop spice hanging about in the aftertaste.
