První IPA uvařená v pivovaru Stráž nad Nežárkou, se vyznačuje rubínovou barvou karamelového sladu. Má výraznější hořkost a citrusové a kořenité aroma českých, amerických a novozélandských chmelů.
Historie piva:
Název inspirován skutečnou historickou událostí, vyrobeno k 80. výročí května 1945.
Na sklonku druhé světové války, dne 17. dubna 1945, spadlo ve Stráži nad Nežárkou na dvůr jednoho z domů vojenské letadlo Messerschmitt Bf 109.

Canned 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & Hrabren. Dark golden/amberish coloured, medium sized off-white head, buttery herbal nose. Candy, caramel, fruity, light buttery and oxidation with bitterish finish.

Can from Pivoteka DBK, with Hrabren and Ogi. Lightly hazy amber body, shiny, thick off-white head, small but bit lasting. Caramelly-floral, syrupy aroma, bit lightly bready, but reminds me of a cough syrup I had to drink as a kid here and there. Same taste, caramelly-dried fruit cough syrup, ending with a good herbal hoppy bitter finish, bit on the rougher side. Fresh dryish, bit juicy taste. I mean, they tried and it's probably 6 months old, so...

0.5 l can thanks to Marko who brought it from Prague, shared with Ogi and him. Unclear amber, small off-white head. Aroma is dirty socks and smelly gas, hints of mercaptan and oxidation. Medium body, moderate carbonation, flavour is overripe fruit, overripe and rotting watermelon, intense unbalanced bitterness, harsh, lightly astringent. Dry.
