A deep dark stout with a very thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth, light vanilla, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, vanilla, very nice

50cl bottle pours a nearly opaque black with a ring of tan head. Nose has malt and cocoa and black pepper. Solid and not overdone. Vanilla is there with something like bay leaf. Flavor is a bit simpler. Good news is, the barrel arrives with some char and caramel. Barrel likely compliments the vanilla too. Well balanced. Sweet, but not overly. Medium full. 8 8.5 8.5 8 8
