Hazy yellow color. Aroma is mostly yeast, I think brett specifically. Dry, and dusty aroma as well. Flavor has hops and moderately sour yeast also; lacto possibly. This tastes better than it smells.

Bottle shared by ippopotamo36 (thanks Alberto!). Pours unclear golden with a medium to little white head. Aroma of orange zest, citrus, lemongrass, leather. Flavour is medium acidic, citric, dry, awesome. Medium to high body, medium carbonation. Fantastic stuff!

Bottle from Florida Hazy murky deep yellow color with a good sized frothy white head that slowly dissipates. Fruity spicy earthy with lots of funky esters on the nose. Lightly tart fruity flavor with earthy hoppy flavor. Light funky moderate bready maltiness underneath. Pretty damn tasty.

Bottle @ home. Somewhat hazy golden orange appearance with an off white head. Aroma has lemon, ginger, Brett funk, dust, mango, and straw. Medium light body, low bitterness, and sweetness. Moderately to highly tart. Oak, vanilla, lemon, lime, peach, and orange flavors. Good carbonation. Lots of funk. One of the better versions.

Whole Foods, Upper East Side bottle: pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is of a lot of funk plus a lot of juicy, tropical fruity hops. Taste is fairly tart, indeed, it is kind of sour. The hop presence is certainly there, but as with all beers of this style, the hops don’t really come out as bitter. Though, that said, the NZ hops are probably not very bitter in the first place, but rather quite fruity, which, in this case, melds quite well. I was more blown away by the normal version, but that was years ago, so it is hard for me to compare.

375 mL bottle. Pours a milky yellow, with a big, firm, frothy, white head. The nose is lemonade, orange peel, light leather, sage, and cream. Sweet and citrusy up front, with a good tart acidity through the finish. Light bitterness, but it cuts the sour flavor very well. Medium body, very acidic, smooth, lively, and clean. This is a wonderful beer that shows off a glorious hop aroma. Very well balanced, easy, yet complex.

375 ml bottle poured into a Spiegelau tulip. Bottled in July 2015. Mostly clear golden yellow with two fingers of off-white head. Aromas of lemon citrus fruit and peel, herbs, light black peppery spice, light funk, subtle floral and oak. Tastes of lemon citrus, earthy notes, subtle floral notes, Brett and funk, light tartness. Medium body with a very dry finish. Probably lost some of the hop flavor from the age but still a very nice Brett IPA.
