Aroma of soft malt, lots of ginger, soap, spicy notes. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate bitterness. This ginger-based beer is not too my liking. I did enjoy the bitter finish.

33cl Fles van Camping Woudhoeve. Goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Vooral in de geur gember en limoenblad, iets citroenrasp, smaak is erg dun en ebt snel weg. Degelijke dorstlesser.

Bottle. Blonde. Ginger aroma. Dominating ginger flavor. Hint of citrus. Thinnish. Some bitter notes in the finish. Not a bad beer, but I just don’t like it.

Bottle at home. Clear golden with big cream colored head. Ginger, milky grains, dank hops, hay, white bread, soft dry malts, lime peel. Under medium sweet and over medium bitter. Medium bodied with a bit fizzy carbonation. The hops and ginger clash a bit here, but overall it’s drinkeable enough.

33 cl bottle at home, gift from a co-worker. Label says 4%. Clear deep golden color. Rocky white head with some retention and lacing. Aroma’s: ginger, grassy, herbs. Retronasal there’s grain, grass, some ginger. Flavor is somewhat fruity, with light bitterness. Thin body. Slightly dry and light bitter finish.

Bottled@Café de Koffer, Groningen. Goldeny amber colour, small white head. Aroma is ginger, some mild fruity and floral notes along with some mild alcohol and cardboard. Flavour is ginger, fruits, some cardboard and mild dusty notes. Mellow on the ginger side of things.

Bottle from Burg Bieren, BB March 2016, large sample. Clear light golden color, short frothy white head. Aroma has lots of ginger, bit citrus, slight grainy malt, bit earthy and grassy hop, slight spicy yeast. Bit bitter in taste, ginger, bit citrussy. Dry in the finish, some ginger, some bitterness lingers. But all in all ginger dominates. Probably pairs good with sushi, but as a standalone beer its not more than ok.

Draft @ de Haas. Golden color. Aroma of wheat and soap. Taste is a bit weird, with ginger, mild pepper and a soapy herbal note. Bit strange.
