Poured from a bottle. Aroma is balanced with a moderately strong blackberry note. Some medium light wheat notes with hints of lemon and citrus acidity as well. Faint oak note. Pours a hazy, purple color with a medium sized, frothy, moderately thick, slightly pink head that recedes fairly quickly to the edges where it lingers for a bit. No lacing or legs. Flavor has moderate acidity with some nice berry notes and some hints of citrus. Medium light wheat notes with some faint oak. Lingering wheat and berry in the finish. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, I like this Berliner a lot. I think it does a good job of showcasing the berry notes while still allowing the wheat and malt of the base Berliner to show through. While de Garde beers can taste like acidic juice, this reminds you it still has malt and wheat in it both in the aroma and flavor.

Bottle thanks to Adam! Pours a deep purple with an off white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has an earthy wheat note with a decent amount of tart blackberry and a hint of sweetness. Flavor is more blackberry forward with a good amount of tartness with a touch of acid and an earthy wheat backbone.
