Lime green can from my daughter for Christmas 2020. Not much forward on the nose, except perhaps a tad of sour milk. Nice that it is simply pure wild beer without any fruit. Easy to like wild brew, I like these wild things, they are so natural. Probably much like the original beers of ancient times, I bet. I really enjoy this laid back natural brew. Unaffected by stupid ass high bitter hops, this brew lets the true sensation of real beer shine thru. Good sizzle across the palate. Wasn't sure I'd like this considering the name but after this beer drinking experience, I've developed a new appreciation for finch.

Pours amber with a thin white head. Aroma of lactose. Taste has light sour notes, kinda flat. Palate is unremarkable, lactose and a bit of tartness. Fruity.

12 oz. can from Binny's, best by 7/18/19. Hazy yellow to orange color. A foamy head that dwindles right after pouring. Bright tartness and a bit of malt in the nose. Tart on the palate too, of course, with no fruit sour here, just what comes from lactobacillus in the wort. Some of the malt does wander in as the beer goes down. It's approachable for someone new to sours. Pretty clean and dry finish.

Sample from can at Hoof Hearted during the Don't Microwave It Don't Boil It vs Slø Turbø - Dual Can Release on 10/07/2018. Clear golden color with a medium thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lace. Aroma of citrus, yeast and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of lemon, mildly funky yeast and doughy malt. The finish is mildly sour with a lemony aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample from a can, thanks to William! Pours pale yellow, with a big, pillowy, white head. The aroma is pine, roses, caramel, lime, and syrup. Sweet and a bit tart. Light to medium body, with a sticky, acidic mouthfeel. This is a mild and easy sour.

12 oz. can. Best before 2018 on the bottom of the can. Almost clear gold color, thin lasting head. Aroma is lacto, sour lemons, and sulfur. Flavor is mildly sour with some lacto. Finish has sulfur and hints of salt. Watery in texture. Kettle sours are hit or miss for me personally. This one is not offensive but there's not a whole lot to it either.

12oz can. Nowhere on the can does it specify American Wild Ale. Filtered orange-tan body. Thin white head. Medium bodied, pleasantly tart. Pretty enjoyable offering. Not a lot of depth, but that suits the style fine.

Draft. Hazy golden amber color, medium white head. Aroma of mixed summer fruit. Taste is softly sour stonefruit. Extra appearance point for the name.
