Bottle. Pours hazy pale golden, large white head, bubbly but long lasting, nice residual and lacing. Aroma is tropical, mango, peach, other stonefruit, citrus, vaguely salty. Flavor is light tart, mineral water, citrus, stonefruit. Medium body, high carbonation. Solid.

The beer is a pale tannish yellow color. It’s completely clouded through. Small white head, a bit soapy and fades to nothing after a minute. The aroma has hops, fruit and yogurty berliner flavor bouncing around. There’s a nice fresh grain sweetness backing it all up. Hops are fairly aggressive and add a nice tropical, citrus, floral flavor. Pineapple, pine, tangerine, grapefruit, orange. The strone fruit is a bit mild but adds a pleasant element. The taste has moderate to mild hop bitterness, some sweetness up front and a moderate tart pucker that grows up a bit in the finish. Good stuff. The berliner base is well made and easy to drink. It’s light on the palate but there’s still some nice body to it. Light pucker. Another quite good beer from Grimm.

Another milkshake pour, yet it’s a bright sort of milkshake...and it’s topped by a decent sized white head showing moderate retention.
Smells like....Super Going and Psychokinesis! Tastes exactly like....Super Going and Psychokinesis! This is ridiculous. I’d bet you couldnt tell the three of them apart in a blind tasting, mostly on account of the obnoxious amount of oak. Add to that very little beer character (the malt is thin, underextracted and overattenuated) and you’ve got yourself pretty much the epitome of what is wrong with American brewing today. Oaked fruited sour with all oak, fruit and sour and no beer. Terrible.

Bottle courtesy of Mike, thank you sir! Cloudy yellow color. Aroma is perfumy apricot candy and subtle peppermint. Taste is softly sour with tart fruit, pepper flesh, floral background, lightly bitter finish. Delicious.

Bottle at home to start vacation I’m a sucker for Grimm so had tun out and grab for fear it’d be unavailable upon my return. Pours very bright creamy yellow orange with fine white head, just looks delicious. Nose is apricot and lacto. Tastes of tart apricots, yeast, grassy, grapefruit, some florals. Just the right amount of tartness. Creamy mouthfeel. Bottle says never boiled or filtered FYI.
