Deep black pour with a dense tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, roasted coffee and molasses, accented by hints of dried fruit and charred oak. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, with layers of cocoa, espresso and caramelised sugar. A collaboration with Lost Cause Brewery

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours darkest brown to black with a light brown head. The aroma is sweet and intoxicating, huge almond character, biscotti, liquid chocolate, vanilla, toasted marshmallow, nougat, mocha coffee, rocky road and fudge brownie. The taste is initially smooth, rich roasted malt, slick, thick, toothy, chewy, sweet, plenty of almond once again, chocolate, bitter, cacao nibs, chocolate brown, coffee grounds, burnt toast, vanilla, rocky road, slightly charred, touch of umami and some boozey warmth. Fulsome body and moderate carbonation. Almond took me by suprise a bit... Not exactly balanced.
