[Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell.] A reddish chestnut pour with a tight cream head; sugary malt aroma; rather thin, but smooth, sweet and malty with a touch of winter spices. A pleasant wintry ale.

Cask at Prince Arthur, Fleet. Darkest amber. Opaque. Foamy beige head. Bitter. Woody. Slightly vinous. Tangy light sour. Underlying sweetness. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-average carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Doesn't do much for me... just differing takes on bitterness.

Cask at The Railway, Streatham, London 24/11/2025 Dark dried fruit shred, toasted and sweet malty with some dark caramel and toffee malty sweetness, yeasty linger, nice mouthfeel and body, light spice into the malty finish.
