16oz can from Alesmith online. Nose is bourbon, brandy vanilla, coffee, chocolate, and caramel. Black with a big tan head. Flavor is chocolate, toffee, and lots of barrel character from the brandy, bourbon, and red wine barrels.

Darkish brown, not much head. Big nose, lots of figs, honey, layers of sugar and bourbon. Similar palate, sticky and rich. Fantastic sugars, tannins, the cognac is all over the palate.

On tap at AleSmith, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is complex as hell, with huge red wine and brandy barrels upfront, plenty of wood, dark dried fruits, and some burnt sugars. Flavour is impeccably complex and elegant, with intense red wine barrels upfront, followed by subtle brandy barrels, light bourbon, dark dried fruits, and brown sugar. Wonderful barrel blend. Just beautiful.
