Good, good bottle. Huge hop aroma, with some grain mixed in. Tastes grainy, mildly sweet, with a cool citrus fade that peters out a little too soon, but not enough to put you off this tasty beer. (10/08)

Pours a dark golden color that borders on amber with a huge fluffy whit head that sticks around for a while. Wow what a nice nose. Spicy floral and resinous hops with hints of toffee and maybe some butter. Gives off and almost herbal aroma at times. Flavor follows the aroma quite well. Starts with a fruity floral and resinous hop that melds into a bit of an herbal note. The some malts come forward to reveal some toffee and a hint of butter. Finishes with a lingering spicy herbal note. Creamy resinous mouthfeel, rather full body, ample carbonation. Wow I enjoyed that one although it is not what I expected while opening the bottle. Well done Boulder, and welcome to NH.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2010. Hazy gold, just the hops, just died, some toffee. But hops just killed by the journey. It could be good, but it isn’t

Cask at Blind Tiger, New York, NY. Served luke warm with clear bronze colour. Grapefruity nose. Sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel and medium body. Vodka and tequila is astonishingly present. Fruity and rough with a bit of resin. At 20-25C it’s not exactly cellar cool, perhaps that’s why it feels so fiercely peppery alcoholic and overall extremely harsh.

This beer is a clear iced tea color with a medium rocky off-white head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Floral hops and fruit in the nose. Medium body with an earthy malt character and flavors of fruit and more floral hops. The finish is malty and earthy with a light hops aftertaste. Decent brew overall.
