CBJ Tasting. Can. Opaque brown. Foamy beige head. Aroma has herbs and resin with underlying chocolate. Flavourwise it's more herbal and resinous. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Nice

Tasting at CBJ, thanks to Tips. A mild haze on this amber brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Airy thin dark malts, a fair old tang. Light barrel woodiness. Ripe tangy fruits. Light and semi dry finish. Tasty if a tad dry.

So so. Soft roast, ash, burnt pine, damp citrus peel. Drinks OK, not a ton to it.

Can split at Craft Beer Junction, thanks to Tipple, 10/12/2025.
Extremely dark mahogany brown topped with a beige cap that thins to the edge.
Nose is roast malts, cocoa powder, charr, dried fruit rinds.
Taste comprises cocoa powder, chocolate malts, charr, ashen nip, pine needle.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close cloaked with earthy hop bitterness.
Decent CDA.
