16 Oz can poured. Best by 11/15/2015, so I’m a little late, but I acquired this that same day I’m pretty sure. Cloudy pale yellow color with am active fizz head. Ginger dominated aroma. Flavor is much lighter and mild than the aroma. A ton more ginger than anything else. Not bad. Interesting.

500mL can, pours a cloudy yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is very floral, with light ginger upfront. Flavour brings out the ginger upfront, with yeast and floral notes. Pretty cheap tasting, but inoffensive at least. Meh.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 11/15/2015. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy deep golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big lemon, peach, apricot, pear, apple, white grape, pepper, clove, ginger, wheat, cracker, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, peach/ginger, and pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big lemon, peach, apricot, pear, apple, white grape, pepper, clove, ginger, wheat, cracker, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Good amount of ginger/peppery yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, peach, apricot, pear, apple, grape, pepper, clove, ginger, wheat, cracker, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness, complexity, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, ginger/peach, and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/yeast/spice balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, fairly crisp, and lightly creamy/bready/sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is a very nice fruit/spiced session saison style. All around good robustness, complexity, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, ginger/peach, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

16oz can, best before 11/07/15 poured into a wine glass. Consumed past the date but who cares. Cloudy golden color, low clarity. Aroma hits most with ginger but not super crazy. Don’t really get peach but the base Saison is definitely decent. Get more in the taste. Not estery, not peppery, maybe not really a Saison but more of a Belgian ale. Not sweet, low hops, a bit husky but definitely a Belgian base ans mostly ginger.

16oz can, best before 11/25/15, drunk 10/30/15.
Moderately fizzy carbonation creates a small white head atop the soft, peachy-gold liquid. Quite effervescent but the head fizzles away fairly rapidly. Clarity is high, with nothing noted in the bottom of the can.
Grassy, lightly herbal nose is vaguely gingery, lightly peachy and vaguely Belgian. Certainly not a saison here, not that I thought it would be, but it’s nice to see no candyish notes nor overdone peach/ginger. Light corn, hay, sweet dough and a bit more ginger as it warms, but very, very subdued overall, aromatically.
Thankfully, then, the flavor does not pour on the ginger or peach. To be honest, I’m not sure I’d identify the ginger even being there, were it not in the name. Peach is easier to find, lightly done and enjoyable, with no sugars left behind. Carbonation, which I was expecting to be fizzy and somewhat noxious, is actually on the medium side and reasonably soft, if not so tight. Light dough, vanilla, touches of honey and grass all grace the palate as the finish shows a bit of peppery ginger and soft peach notes lingering. Certainly nothing to write home about, but clean and MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better than expected based on the name and the ridiculous label. Rating this as a Spice/Fruit beer, not a saison.

Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home while doing some work on that first Monday night after the Daylight Savings TIme shift for winter, feels like it’s an endless night. Appearance is a cloudy gold with a thin white head. Aroma of ginger, peach, saison like. Taste of ginger, peach, similar ingredients to a saison. It’s like the opening riff in their saison medley. Wow, I should work in the Tallgrass marketing department. It’s actually not that great. Oh well.

Can. A- Ginger, soap, spice. A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Ginger, spices. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, O- If there is actually peach in here it is virtually non detectable. Tons of ginger and a lot of various other spices. This was just not balanced and needs a lot of work, unless it just wants to be a ginger beer.
