An American IPA hopped with criminal disregard. Featuring generous additions of Cascade, Chinook, and Mandarina hops, followed by hints of Munich malt, Ponzi’s aroma writes checks that its flavor cashes. If it seems too good to be true, you’re probably drinking Ponzi.

Can. Hazy pale gold, white head. Citrus, tropical fruit, hay, candied sugar notes, and a dollop of wet dog. Okay.

From a 12 oz can. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Aromas of tropical fruit. Flavors are bitter with a surprising sweetness. Tasty.

Okay West Coast IPA, lots of pine and malt with a slight orange-grapefruit undertone. Cascades pave the way, but the Mandarinas get lost amid a hefty resinous middle and lots of sweet grain and caramel malts. Finishes bitter with hints of citrus. Pours a hazed gold with a thin white head that produces surprising amounts of lace. Nose offers up a little pine, a little grapefruit, not much else. Good sparkly texture helps the IBUs from getting too aggressive. Solid mealtime IPA, in that you don't like it so much you refrain from eating to better enjoy your pint.

A hazed golden ipa with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with grassy resinous hops, light dankness, pleasant. In mouth, sweet biscuit malt with resinous herbaceous hops, light mineral notes, white grapefruit, pleasant. On tap at brewery.

Can at the Natural History Museum. Out of the can - no glasses. Med + body. Lots of citrus plus lots of similar hops. Think there’s grapefruit. Nicely bitter. Very good stuff.
